The pictures of this project seem to show a contemporary landscape designed in 2024. In fact, this was designed, installed and maintained by ML&D from 2000 to 2006.

Our client Chris Jagger, host of the “Jagger & Julie” morning radio talk show and a local Dallas celebrity, relied entirely on our aesthetic sense and installation know-how for the project, since we had also designed, installed and maintained his previous home.

Highland Park Estate Project

The renowned landscape architect Charles Stick designed this remarkable “historically correct” design for this esteemed estate in Highland Park, Dallas. ML&D was consulted for its upkeep from 2006 to 2008. Keeping to the very strict pruning and pleaching requirements of the design was an epic experience. The English parterres shown in the pictures were trimmed with our expertise to maintain the paisley shapes of the English boxwood hedges.

Hunter Creek Home Project

This beautiful home sat on a street corner with dreary views, as all the windows inside the house looked out onto an asphalt road. Working from January 2022 to March 2023, ML&D changed that dull view to a bright and blooming garden all year long. In line with city requirements, we added ten additional parking spots along the home.

Sprinkler Systems

Upkeep of a sprinkler system can be expansive. Keeping the drawing in system can pinpoint the problem in the future.

Logistics of the Project

Such as the timely delivery from the grower to the location could be a small detail but huge protection for plants from stress.
Money well spent, and the results show, after installation and in the future with lush plants doing well.
